AF is late and still getting BFN - any hope?

Back again this month

My cycles are always 28 days (AF usually starts on day 27 or 28) but today is CD29 and no AF. I have horrible cramps but they feel sorer than the cramps I would normally get, and lots of pain in my lower back compared to normal. I've been symptom spotting like mad - around CD20 (I think ovulation was 12th) I had a weird burning/pulling feeling in my lower stomach.

I've tested 5 times, starting from CD20/8dpo and most recent test was this morning. All BFN! I used 2 clearblue, 2 FRER and 1 cheapie from home bargains. Surely it would be positive by now?

Ive never had a late period apart from when I was pregnant with DC1 so now I've got my hopes up and I know Im going to be disappointed

Anyone else in a similar boat? Or anyone been late with BFN before going on to get a BFP?

3 days late, still getting BFN. I'm so confused.

I have cramps, nausea and can't stop peeing. Also couldn't stop thinking about frozen grapes the other day.

My cycle is 28 days. I generally test positive on day 30, but extremely faintly if it's a cheap test.

So maybe try not to make an assumption either way just... Easier said than done though!

Do you know for certain when ovulation was?

@Mortima i don't know for 100% sure, but my cycles are like clockwork and I use an app to track ovulation along with CM so I think I know the couple of days it might have happened but not definitely sure x

I had this 2 months ago… my cycles are 28 days like clockwork. 9 days late, still BFN! Was convinced I was pregnant so did about 30 tests! Then after 9 days AF made an appearance…

Keep testing but try not to get ur hopes up just incase (everything crossed you’ll get your BFP✨)

I'm no expert, but would guess that you have ovulated late (which can happen sometimes, for all sorts of reasons), and as luteal phase tends to stay the same you're having a longer cycle than usual.

Which doesn't mean you you couldn't also be pregnant (if you DTD around the right time), but it could be too early to tell, depending on when ovulation actually occurred. So keep testing, and fingers crossed for you!
