I started testing on day 9 of my cycle and received a flashing smiley face on my digital stick, and the next day a static smiley face but on my clear blue monitor it was still “low” the whole time.

Ive continued testing everyday and today, the monitor and digital stick have picked up high fertility again and I’m on day 14 of my cycle, but I also did normal easy @ home LH strips and this is still low? I’m just so confused, have I ovulated twice in one cycle? Is it normal to receive two highs? This is the first time on the monitor so just wondered if anyone experienced something similar? The cheap strips are still saying low so I’m unsure whether I’m ovulating at all or not!

I think you can have two LH peaks yes. I find temps more accurate. But also LH changes within hours so easy to miss the peak. Hth.

Your monitor will pick up high fertility before the easy at home because it looks for two hormones. It's designed to give you something like six high fertility days in total including your two peak days. Easy at home will only pick up your LH peak and it can pass in just a few hours so it's possible to miss it completely unless you're testing regularly. It's recommended you DTD regularly throughout the high period rather than wait for peak to maximise chances. If you haven't already, download the pre-mom app to log your easy at home results. It will track the rise and peak for you to help avoid confusion interpreting results.

My experience is that the monitor is extremely accurate. That is also the experience of those I know who have used it. I had three high days before two peaks then a high. I got my easy at home peak the night before peak on the monitor and it was gone the next day. I conceived that month.

@Chocolatetwirl Oh I see! Thanks so much. So my clear blue digital stick picked up a surge on day 9, but the monitor didn’t but today (day 14) the digital stick has picked up a surge and so has the monitor. Any idea as to why you think the monitor didn’t detect it on day 9?

My experience is that none of the sticks were accurate /when I was Supposedlylow I conceived unfortunately it was a miscarriage
The advice is if you are having sex every couple of days after your period then you Will be covering your high days anyway and possibly get pregnant regardless of the ovulation sticks or not.
