Negative HPT turned positive overnight

Hi everyone,

Really freaking out here. I did a pregnancy test last night, negative. Put it in the bin.

Did another test this morning and it was negative. When I went to put it in the bin I saw the previous test has turned positive overnight. Immediately did another and it is also negative.

So I have one positive and two negative tests.

I have looked online and can find a lot of conflicting information about tests changing after a length of time. I plan to test again in a few days. But I'm also not sure if I am pregnant or not. I am 14DPO.

You can’t count the one that turned positive overnight I’m afraid. It was negative last night.
The instructions generally say not to read the tests after the time specified because you can get an evaporation line, which is a false positive.

Retest in a couple of days. Good luck.

Thank you for this, I thought so. One of the other negatives has turned positive after a few hours too.
