Hi,

I found out I was pregnant last weekend, after several faint positives I've had a week of obvious ones.

Sorry for TMI but I woke up this morning (AF 10 days late) to my underwear covered in blood. It felt like water gushing away and heavy dark red blood. Took my last pregnancy test and its now only faint positive again.

Is this a cp, Miscarriage or normal? I have no pain or other symptoms :(

No one online can tell you for definite unfortunately. Call your local early pregnancy unit, GP or midwife for medical advice.

@Mummyto1xo so sorry this is happening to you, it can be confusing and terrifying, especially when you're unsure what's happening to your body and your baby.

In my experience, bleeding and continuing to bleed (similar to a period) has always been a miscarriage. It sounds like you're using the dye tests (CB or FRER types). When mine has been faint again, coupled with bleeding and a sudden loss of pregnancy symptoms, the outcome hasn't been good.

You should call your GP and get a referral to the EPU, they can scan you to confirm what is going on. Bleeding in early pregnancy is also very common, it doesn't always signify something awful. Try not to worry until you have had a scan and confirmation either way.

I don't want to give any false hope but I had a haemotoma when I was 6w+2 and I bleed a lot of fresh red blood. I was convinced I was miscarrying but EPU confirmed the haemotoma and baby was ok. However the fact that the test are now showing fainter than before is probably not a good sign. I hope you get some answers soon x

I would contact your GP or pregnancy specialist, regardless I am sorry you're dealing with this, it must be stressful. Maybe try asking babyvillage.org/ if you want quick reassurance. I wish you luck!
