How early to test?

Hello,
I m currently in the tww and this is our third cycle of trying for our first. We are both super impatient with testing, how early have people tested and got a BFP? Currently 8 dpo

I had a BFP, clear not a squinter, at 10DPO. Only use first response though

Absolutely! My sister had her ovulation confirmed and didn't get a positive test until TWO weeks late 🤯🤯 I mean, very rare and don't quite understand but he measured correct on each scan to go on line with confirmed ovulation/last period etc! However, generally speaking you're not out until AF shows 🥰

Clear positive on a FRER at 10DPO. Tried a cheap early result from home bargains at 9DPO and not a whisper of a line. Also tried some cheap strip tests from 10DPO until I missed a period and they were quite squinty for a while. Had it not been for the positive FRER I'd definitely have doubted the result so wouldn't use them again so early.

I tested 7DPO (I didnt test for ovulation but i have regular cycles) a few days ago because I was insanely tired and had a positive on a clear blue. With my first, I didnt realise the symptoms so only test when my period was late. Don't be disheartened if it's negative - it has to implant for the HCG levels to rise

@Bella1997 Id love to know too🤣 I’m trying to wait until a late period but I’m 7dpo and that seems absolutely ages away

I would wait until 12dpo if I was testing again but that’s after 4 years, 7 miscarriages and 1 baby.

However I do remember the urge to test early and I indulged in plenty of it. I never got a positive on a FRER before 10dpo so that was usually the earliest I would test.

The faintest line on a FRER (you couldn't even see it in a photo) at 10dpo.

He's almost 3 now!
