TTC tips trying for #1

Hi, would love your tips on TTC and staying positive and relaxed or to chat to others TTC.
We are trying for baby #1 and currently on cycle 4 and I'm 31.
I know it can take a while but I just hoped it would happen quickly!😅
And can't help but feel like if it hasn't happened now it won't happen at all!

Hi OP!

I’ve just had my BFP for baby no 2 this week after 6 cycles - which is the fastest we have conceived, out of 3 times. Things we did;

We actually didn’t track ovulation this cycle and DTD every other day of my fertile week
Took conceive plus preconception vitamins myself and DH
Used a fertilily cup - we have used this a few times before

And I hate to say - I tried to focus on other things and not stress , I know the worst advice ever.

We don't really track my cycle either as I have a 21-25 day cycle so I'm kinda just constantly, every other day (ish) DTD.

Just nice to hear I'm not the only one still TTC I guess!

Other than tracking with OPKs, the only other thing I did was drink a glass of grapefruit juice each morning until ovulation. It's meant to help with EWCM. No idea if it worked but we caught first cycle so who knows!

i know exactly what you mean… I have friends who seem to have sneezed and fallen pregnant and I didn’t think it would be this long… and 4 months isn’t even long which is the scary part!!! Anywayyy sending you lots of baby dust!💕 I’m ovulating this week so fingers crossed this is the month… though also going to be very hard to hide it around Christmas if we fall soon!
