Hi all,

I'm new here and looking for my cycle buddies.

Currently CD24, 8 DPO. I'm in my TWW and the wait is killing me! Tested with FMU today and BFN. Although I convinced myself I saw a shadow, I think it's probably my line eyes lol.

I miscarried my first pregnancy 23/08 at 4w2d ( CP )

Praying for my BFP this month

I'm 14DPO, AF due in two days and another negative. I'm really not in a good headspace. Struggling hugely. And panic attack setting in I think. I hate this.

@monsteramunch sorry to hear you're struggling. AF is due on Sunday and I've really tried not to think about it. Who know maybe there will be good news for both of us this weekend.

I've been having some mild cramps and a sharp pain in my lower stomach today and trying really hard not to symptom spot ....

AF due today... not shown up yet but I'm very anxious about it starting. Trying to take it hour by hour today and just accept whatever happens

AF has showed up and then some here, salt in the wound that it's an especially bad one 😞

Still no sign of AF - I'm a bit scared to let myself hope but I think I'll take a test in the morning if nothing changes 😬

sorry to be so late to the party but I wondered if I could please join the thread?

here's my story:
TTC baby 1 since May 22. We fell pregnant in July 22. At 13w+ 6 we have our 12 week scan (due to availability of dates etc) and I found out we lost the baby at 8-9 weeks, so went in for medical/D+c. That was early October , and I got my period back exactly 4 weeks after the ordeal, start of November.

we have been TTC for one month since then. My period was due this time last week. I have done about 4 tests and still nothing. I don't know what on earth is going on with my body. I'm not normally this late but the number of tests I've done that are negative, I can't be pregnant . So now I have the frustrating wait for my period which doesn't seem to be turning up. I've had period cramping a little this last week but no period. It's so frustrating!!

to top it all off, this month we found out our good friends are pregnant. It happened for them first month of trying 😖they've had their scans and all is fine.

I've read the whole thread and it's great to see there's been some good news. I guess I'm coming here for hope, and to not go through this alone anymore 💕

Still no sign of AF but only one day late at this point so will test again on Wednesday and Friday. I've never missed a period in my life so I'd reach out to the GP anyway if tests are still negative then

I just hate the waiting. I could deal with AF showing up, it would suck but we'd just move on to the next month. We've decided to take a break until the new year because my family are staying with us for Christmas during my fertile window.

But the waiting for AF to arrive, not knowing whether to get hopeful or not is slowly driving me insane

Yes, I totally relate to this. It is the waiting and the unknown/uncertainty of it all that is the most frustrating part isn't it. I'd rather my period would just arrive as I've lost all hope for this month at this point!

@Msh0 yeah it's so difficult to stay positive. Every time the test comes back negative I feel like it's never going to happen or there is another reason for missing a period.

That's why I'm going to try and wait until Friday to test again ... I'd rather wait with a bit of optimism than be disappointed repeatedly ... if no BFP on Friday I'll speak to Gp to see why else I could've missed a period. The thing is I've not been on contraception or anything like that for five years and have been regular since then so I really struggle to understand what else it could be

Still no AF and no BFP ... spoke to health advice line and they said it's likely just very early but my head is just going to all the things that could be wrong :( why is this so hard??? For months, I've been looking forward to missing a period but now it's just more waiting and uncertainty...

I'm in exactly the same boat! Period 8 days late but no BFP. Incredibly frustrating!

@Msh0 that's so annoying! Are you going to try and speak to a GP ?

I'm not sure what they can do.. i imagine they would suggest I wait it out a few more weeks... I've had a family funeral this month and still struggling emotionally from my miscarriage so I honestly think it's stress that's delaying it, but I'm also stressing about it being late so it's just a vicious cycle I think!

@Msh0 I was told stress can delay it or cause a missed period. Honestly don't think I've been particularly stressed this month, at least not a lot more than usual and this has never happened before. I keep holding off on testing in the morning, determined to wait to Friday and then break down and test in the afternoon and get BFNs (maybe too diluted?) I've got a GP appointment booked for Friday just to chat as this is really completely out of the normal for me and is starting to set off my anxiety ....

Still no AF or BFP so starting to worry that something is going on... I feel like my breasts have deflated slightly so hopefully that means AF will come soon and we can move on to the next cycle

Just spoke to GP who said there is still a chance I might be pregnant and to test again in a week 😩 not sure I can take another week of not knowing ... if still no period or BFP then they'll get me in for some blood tests

Hi all, hope you don’t mind me jumping on!

I come off the pill 17/11 after being on it for nearly 15/16 years. Before going on my period was always due around the 27th but assume this will have changed over the years. Had some type of bleed yesterday but only when wiping / not transferring to pad. Very light.

anyway we DTD 4/12, 8/12 and 11/12 and I’ve been having all kinds of symtoms. Cramping, sore boobs, heightened smells, back ache. It’s so hard to differentiate between PMS and possible implantation.

I know no one here can actually tell me what’s going on 😂 but is there any chance what I’m experiencing now is implantation bleeding? Or breakaway bleed from the pill? I am very confused and almost want a period so I can start to work out what my cycles should be like. How long after potential implantation bleed do you test?

being in school I was always told ‘miss the pill and you’ll be pregnant’.. if only it was that simple!

Of course AF arrived today ... I'm mostly relieved that there doesn't seem to be anything wrong but still a little disappointed. Happy to be able to move on to the next cycle though. Ovulation currently predicted for New Year's Day which feels quite symbolic for a new start

Found out yesterday that my sister in law is pregnant with their second after only a month of trying which had been a bit of a kick in the teeth.... were really close and see her about once a week so there's no way to not hear about every development of her pregnancy...

@Firsttimetrying2022 im so sorry that sucks! Xmas is awful for this! My OH cousin is pregnant with her second and I found out on Boxing Day! I had to take myself to the toilet for a moment!

Same I had to step outside for a minute - it's rough but we've got to just keep trying I guess. Ovulating today or tomorrow so maybe I'll be close behind her
