All you can do is wait I’m afraid. I think the advice is to leave two days between testing. I hope you get the answer that you want.

Wait a few days and test again.

When you say ovulation occurred on 31st, did you get a opk peak on 29/30th?

How did you confirm your ovulation on the 31st OP?

Blue2020 · 15/09/2022 12:40

If it’s the lh peak then usually ovulation can occur 12-36hrs later, although sources vary on that time frame. I usually find it happens the day after my peak test (about 24hrs). So you could have ovulated on 1st or 2nd.

The other thing I do is measure my bbt (temperature) each morning. This confirms ovulation occurred if the temp increases and stays high for three consecutive days.

Ovulation test strips

It could be hyperovulation? Where both ovaries release an egg. Or I've also read it can be common to have 2 LH surges in a month.

I'd keep doing the deed if you're TTC and keep testing every few days over the next 2-3 weeks!

For some reason lots of people don't know this but LH also peaks just before your period. So the two options are 1) ovulating late or 2) period about to arrive. This is why LH tests are not a good idea to use to detect pregnancy
