As previous post . Had positive ovulation on 28th august at 1:33pm. Had sex the night before and on the Thursday before. Then again on the Wednesday after . Period due today . A very very faint line on pregnancy test and I did the ovulation test, the green one and quite dark. Is there a possible chance I am pregnant and testing early. I have 5 children already and I have that tired feeling I can’t shake but that coudl just be life lol

The opk would be very positive if pregnant. I can’t see the hpt well enough to comment x

guessing I’m not and period will be soon x

LH tests don’t always go dark if you’re pregnant. Sometimes they do sometimes they don’t which is why they say not to use them for pregnancy. They go dark for me a day or 2 before AF though so they can go dark for other reasons than pregnancy.

definitely stick to pregnancy tests as a LH won’t give definite answers either way as can give false negatives or false positives for pregnancy so pointless.

OPKs turn dark when there is HCG present as HCG is molecularly similar to LH.

You can also have an LH surge before your period and LH can rise and fall throughout the month so they aren't accurate for testing for pregnancy.

If your period is due today then I would expect to see a line on the pregnancy test.

Ok thank you . Well unsure my last cycle was 37 days. I ovulated or at least my test said I was on the 28th august. So I’m unsure when period is but I’m guessing 14-16 after positive opk

@Novemberrain77 just keep testing every few days with pregnancy tests. No point in using OPK’s when pregnancy tests do the job properly

I know I used it as I had read they can work and there was a faint on pregnancy test . So I used the lines to compare x

Can I have some advice, so I had unprotected sex a couple of weeks ago. Had poss pregnancy symptoms. Yesterday I started spotting very light and only when I wiped. Today the same but slightly heavier at times but not to my usual period flow. Had a few belly pains but not as bad as period pains. Just confused as it's not my usual period flow. I've put a pad in but it's only a small one and doesn't soak usually it would. I've read implantation bleeding. But wanted others thoughts? Thanks
