Positive ovulation tests

Hey, so eventually I got my static smiley yesterday on CD 17 and again today CD 18. We got married in August so I went on norethisterone to stop the period in August. Would this effect the readings on the ovulation test? It's my first month using them and I was going around the bend with the flashing smily for 10 days. Xx

As far as I know, norethisterone pretty much stops having an effect when you stop taking it and your cycle goes back to normal. (But my experience is only ever taking it a couple of weeks at a time - might be different if you take it longer).
