Positive OPK

Hi girls,

I'm posting this as I was wondering whether you thought this is a faint positive (that it will darken over the coming days), or it's just a negative.

This is very exciting for me as I have had irregular periods my whole life (but never tracked properly), and since I have come off the mini pill (about 9 weeks ago now) I haven't had a period, and I also haven't ovulated.
I pretty much thought I was barren/unable to ovulate, and was already looking into conditions for adoption, but today for the first time, I am seeing a faint 2nd line.

Should I not get my hopes up? Is this what usually appears when the body starts to secrete LH?

Yes, that’s not positive yet but I’d have thought it will be within a couple of days, depending on how fast your lh surge is.

For me a line that dark would be positive tomorrow BTW.

Thanks! I had tears of joy when I saw this... (by the way both of these were taken in the same hour, I just couldn't believe my eyes so had to take a 2nd one just to be sure)

Update: @CavernousScream completely right, I got a high this morning when I tested! :-)

I hope this can bring some comfort/reassurance to ladies with irregular cycles/keep getting negative OPKs
