@EdieMG I hear you on the symptoms! Some women have a lot to deal with during the first trimester and while not fun, it at least serves as a daily reminder that the pregnancy is still going and your HCG is high enough.
If it helps, my last pregnancy I had barely any symptoms other that feeling tired, sore nipples a couple of times, and a touch of nausea. He’s currently 16-months old and wanting to play at 5:30am 🥴
This pregnancy is almost the same. Tested positive around 12DPO and barely any symptoms. When I’ve experienced loss, I’ve had it a bit rough with nausea and headaches, so it really is impossible to tell.
I have an early scan booked for this pregnancy too. Actually the EPU are doing it this time due to my history. Once you see that heartbeat it helps with the anxiety. Although honestly, I never truly got over it all through the pregnancy last time. Especially as he wasn’t very active and just kind of planked on my uterus for the first 20 weeks.
Take it a week at a time is my advice to you, and do whatever you need to do to feel less anxious and stressed. Everyone will have an opinion on what you should and shouldn’t do (continuing to test, private scans, dopplers, etc) they’re not you and this isn’t their pregnancy. Whatever gets you through ❤️
