pregnancy test - shall I do one now?

Is there any point at all doing a test 3 days earlier than it says I should.
We'd talked about trying for another when ds was one so the other week, on his first birthday we gave it a go. It was only afterwards that we thought about the fact that my brother is getting married abroad next year, yes in about nine months time!!!! I have felt very pregnant for a week though the feeling has worn off now. I'm desparate to find out but will I waste the test?

probably best not to test earlier than it says on the box - as even if you are PG, there might not be enough PG hormone in your wee for the test to pick it up. have you got a "First Response" test as that is meant to pick up PG a few days before AF?

Nah I was too mean to buy that one, wish I had now!

If you are going to do it early then do it first thing in the morning...urine more concentrated!
