Brown discharge after spotting

Just wondering if anyone has had anything similar. I had 1 day of spotting this month followed by 2 days of brown discharge. We are actively trying but I took a test and it was negative. Very odd 🤔

Just to note I have had an ectopic before but I don’t think it’s another one

I'm experiencing the same! One morning of spotting, 4 days earlier than AF expected, and now only light brown discharge for last couple of days. Really odd. I usually have 2-3 days of brown discharge before period but never had bright red blood "opening it" so to speak, and so early. Am holding up testing until the day AF was supposed to arrive
