Metformin ttc - side effects

Hi,

was prescribed metformin and have been taking it for about 4 weeks upping my dose every week. Good news is I ovulated for the first time after a week and had my first “normal” cycle

bad news is although I escaped the usual bad stomach side effect, I feel sick constantly but I’m also so tired! I can cope with the sickness and try to manage it through eating the right things at the right time but the tiredness is a struggle

has anyone else had this side effect? Did it get better?

Hi @Hopeful1992 I also had these horrible symptoms! They do get better though, mine took a while to calm down but try and keep going. Hope everything works out for you 😊

Yes, it took a few months. Don't give up.

Thanks both! :) I’m definitely going to keep going and just battle through the tiredness! Fingers crossed it will all be worth it in the end
