Tech for tracking ovulation

I’ve never owned an Apple Watch, but suddenly find myself very tempted now it can do BBT and ovulation tracking!

I’m only on cycle 2 and already fed up of peeing on ovulation sticks and manually using a thermometer every morning..
Wondering if have any one knows of other tech that might make make life easier when TTC?

I was interested in the Apple Watch for a smiler reason… but then I read that it estimates ovulation AFTERwads, which made me think it was a bit useless… unless I’m missing something!

I think all BBT charting has the same limits, you won’t be able to tell if it’s a consistent rise in temp until a couple of days after the actual ovulation. So by the time you’ve seen three days raised you are already 2DPO.

Oh I see! Yes I guess so, I never thought of that. I’ve been using clear blue tests but I suppose they don’t really want to make an Apple Watch you can pee on 🤣

I bought the new Apple Watch 8 because of all the woman health feature, tracking bbt, estimated ovulation time and cycle tracking.. the BBT tracking is pretty much accurate, but there’s one down side for me, I became a bit too anxious or worrying my BBT drops on 13 or 14 dpo, so I ended up loosing sleep 😔 I am going to switch off this bbt tracking for this cycle.
