Three week wait ✨

Decided to re-coin the "two week wait" as currently 14/15dpo or CD3 (confusing right?) and no clearer than if I was 4dpo! 🤣

• felt pregnant (like most cycles 🙄)
• tested (obsessively) from 7dpo - had a few very faint lines on different brands over the last couple of days
• had potential imp bleeding 9dpo
• really strong cramps + extreme bloating from about 10dpo until 13dpo
• thought AF had started 12dpo, but stopped after less than 2 days and much less than normal

Currently got a bubbly bloated tummy and my boobs are bigger than normal, sensitive to smells and a cracking headache all day today. Dizziness and foul mood started quite a few days ago - poor OH 🤣

Started this thread so that everyone who wants to have a grumble/discuss their symptoms/talk about what's going on with their cycle/obsessively early test, can! Supportive comments only here please.

Just put (listen) or (advise) depending on what you want others to do - as this technique works great with my OH when I'm moaning about work but not wanting his advice on it 🤣

Can I join you please. I am in a very similar situation with very similar symptoms and I just do not feel right. I have gotten a few very faint positives but the doctors cannot see anything when I saw them last Wednesday.

-I have had a tugging sensation behind my belly button for two weeks and just unusual twitches

• I am severely bloated and it's horrible
• severe nausea and I have been vomiting
• my sense of smell is all over the place.
• peeing for England
• I am a moody cow and keep snapping at my OH over the slightest thing. I feel really awful.
• my boobs feel so full and achy and I have Montgomery tubercles that have appeared out of nowhere.
• my period did not appear. I had spotting and then it got slightly heavier but I only used one ST before it completely stopped and there was no clots or any symptoms like s normal AF for me.

The OH has noticed that I look bigger around my middle and my boobs are looking different.

Honestly going insane as nothing makes sense.

@Gillseybear sorry to hear you're going through similar! It's so horrible and confusing isn't it! I've had a couple of vvfl on easy@home tonight. Not sure I'll believe it until it darkens up though!!

@Salcal I still feel so not right and it's horrible. I just want answers now as it's not making any sense. The nausea and vomiting is really getting me down. With back pain on top, it's really not nice.

My urine and stool sample came back all normal for infections and other things. So now I have no idea as I was hoping it would be that. All the symptoms I have point towards me being pregnant but the tests are negative so far.
I have picked up a test to do in the morning and so I shall test in the morning when I wake up.
I have done an E-Consultation and am hoping that they will do blood tests to figure it out.

@Gillseybear a blood test defo sounds like a plan. And a morning test! Is it a low sensitivity one? So sorry you're having such a crappy time!! I've felt exactly the same this month, just not right and was certain I must be pregnant. How many dpo are you? I think (if pregnant) I'm about 16/17dpo right now.

Boobs still feeling bigger, lots of heavy feeling in lower stomach, bloating, aches and twinges and some weird twinges in my hips/tops of things? Really strange. Wondering if these tests will go to BFP or not.. if I get a BFP I may call my early pregnancy unit and discuss with them, as I was a bit worried r.e the bleeding and pain I had!

Hoping you get some answers soon 🤞🏼 would you mind offering me line eyes on the test I mentioned?

I can't see anything. If you were 16/17DPO then there would be a clear line.

Are you sure the bleed wasn't your period but just lighter than normal. It can happen.

@KatySp I can see something in person, may not be translating well in pic, as an easy@home I did earlier with diluted wee was definitely stark white

I think if I am (big if!), I likely implanted late (closer to 12dpo than 6dpo), and then if HCG only doubling every 48-72hrs, would make a bit more sense. But I guess I won't know until either more bleeding/AF (this cycle or next) or BFP 😣

The bleed/AF I had lasted 1.5 days and was bright red, watery and nothing like normal AF, which confused me!

Ooo thanks for starting this test, I've been feeling rotten all day.
I'm symptom spotting this week. It's the first time in 2 years of trying that I've actually let myself hope and it started because for the first time ever I've had spotting before my period:

-10dpo through to 12dpo (today) brown spotting went a bit pink and then back to brown
-Stupidly emotional
-Headaches
-Tiredness
-Tender boobs

Odd one out there too, by now I've usual got 1 or 2 spots arriving on my chin, nothing yet.

All good hallmarks, so I dared to get myself a early test yesterday, did it this morning and got a solid negative.

Period is due Friday, I have a couple more "after period is late" tests so thinking if no period arrives by Sunday, I'll test again.

@SuperlativeOxymoron ahhh feeling your pain here - the negative early tests are so disheartening to read! I did two CB early digitals yesterday - both "not pregnant", made me spiral and call my GP who told me to chill out and keep testing basically 🤣 easy@homes arrived and feeling more in control now.

Sounds similar to what I've had, found myself crying at everything and I never cry! Definitely all good hallmarks 🤞🏼

Crossing everything your period doesn't come - you deserve your BFP, especially after such a long wait and all that comes with waiting x

@Salcal yeah that's why I am hoping that the doctors will do blood tests.

I have brought a clear blue test to do in the morning and so I shall go from there.
Not sure how many DPO I am. My last AF was the 2-5th August. So I genuinely have no idea after that. My cycles can be a little irregular at times but normally fall between 21 and 28 days. At least they have done since I came of off the pill last November,

I started spotting on the 23-24 November but it was pink and only noticeable when I wiped. Then on the 25th it got a little heavier but not by much and was there for a few hours and then stopped. Still pink/light red. That was it then and I have had nothing since. I have had none of my normal AF symptoms and normally by now things are more settled.
So all these symptoms make no sense.

I see a very faint line on both of those tests. They are very faint but they are there.

@Salcal I did a test this morning and it came back with a negative. So still Uber confused and not sure what to think
The doctors got in touch and have decided to prescribe me omeperazole as even though I have all the other symptoms, they think it might be caused by accident reflux or heartburn.

@Gillseybear ahh same last AF as me, it's so strange isn't it. How are you feeling today?
Interesting r.e the omeprazole - do you feel like they've made the wrong decision for this?

I've had a couple of faint lines again this morning but may well be indents. Thinking I'm maybe just reading in to it too much and that it was just a weird cycle/weird residual symptoms now. Still lots of bloating and boobs are still bigger than normal, needing to pass urine a lot too. Had twinges and cramps last night also. Time shall tell I suppose and I'll go back to GP if cycles remain weird 😣

@Salcal I still feel pretty rough to be honest. I feel sick as a pig still. Was not actually sick last night but still feel really rough,
My boobs and lower back are killing me and I still have that weird pain around my belly button. I am super all over the place emotionally and I keep just getting upset for no reason. I cried at an advert I saw yesterday that I have seen before and never cried at. Also these mood things are driving me insane. I keep snapping at my partner for no reason.
I thought I saw a faint line on my test but maybe I am seeing things on it.

I do think the doctors have made the wrong call. It it was acid reflux or stomach issues, it would of shown up on my stool sample and doing a simple blood test would rule out billiary colic or other gastric issues. I have had a billiary colic/ gallstones episode before and it felt nothing like this. So I am pretty sure it's not that as these are completely different symptoms. I just do not get it personally as I explained all of this in my E-Consultation but I guess I will just have to wait and see. I have to try it for 4 weeks and if there is no improvement after that then I have to go back to the doctors.

I just wish these things were simpler. Who knew that finding out if you are pregnant or not could be so complicated.

Morning @Salcal how are your tests progressing?

I've just done one of the normal CB and it's a negative, although still no period. 2 days late and usually I'm like clockwork on a 27 day cycle, sometimes even a day early. So feeling a bit bereft about that, my period tracker is saying my period may start today, rather than it's late, so maybe I'm still testing too early?

@Salcal I hope you are doing okay and have been able to get some answers over the next few days.

I am feeling worse than I did before since being on the omeperazol and none of it makes any sense. So I shall just have to wait and see what happens I guess. At my wits end a little bit now as nothing makes sense anymore.

Sorry for the slow response - been a rough few days.
Had a scan in the early pregnancy clinic as I had some concerning symptoms - looks like possibly a chemical/early mc.
Weirdly I am still have swollen breasts, mood swings, and cramping/discomfort/shooting in lower pelvis, peeing a lot and headaches.. not sure what to think, but definitely no hope of a miracle.

So sorry to hear you're still in the throes of it. How are you feeling now? Do you plan to get back in touch with your Dr since no improvement?

Oh @Salcal I am so sorry to hear this. It's a horrible situation to be in. I am here if you need anything at all, just message. I completely understand the silence because of this. What do they plan on doing now???

I am really not sure what to do as I still feel like crap and have been getting up most nights to throw up. I still have all the other symptoms and am feeling no better at all. I dunno whether to contact my local EPU and see what they suggest or just leave it for another week or so. Due to irregular cycles, I am not sure whether to wait another week and see if AF shows up or not. It's been 3 weeks today since what I thought was the implantation bleed started but I still have no clue to be honest. If accurate I would be around 6 weeks and so I would expect it to be showing by now.
I am literally sat here now and my tummy feels like it's doing little flips. So I think EPU might be a viable option. Just dunno what to think anymore.

@Gillseybear thank you, that's so kind - same to you also! Just needed to take a couple of days to clear my head, spent some time googling "negative scan but pregnant in the end??" And then decided I need to put the phone down 🤣 not a lot really, if I'm honest the support was a bit pants and no follow up booked. Will likely go back to my GP if no change in symptoms.

Gosh that's intense for you, and so confusing when no BFP either. I would touch base with EPU if I were you, even if just for a rough plan. The little movements you feel - do they feel like wind or something else? Just thinking there's the "hook effect" and if it feels like there's fluttering.. possibly something to consider. What tests have you been using?
Really hoping you get an answer asap as feeling as though you're in limbo is awful.

@SuperlativeOxymoron sorry I forgot to add you in to my earlier response! How are you feeling now? Did AF make an appearance? If not, there's always the possibility of later implantation also.. thinking of you either way 🤞🏼

@Salcal yeah that's fair enough. I was the same when I had my last miscarriage. I did not do much at all for days after. Just keep an eye on things and I defo recommend going back to your doctors if there is no change.

It really is confusing and horrible to experience. I just wish it made sense. I think you are right. I might give my local EPU a ring tomorrow and see what they suggest. I will keep you updated. I have had faint positives on cheap tests and the clear blue tests my partner picked up we're both negative.
I know this wierd pains are not wind related as they are in a different place to where I normally get them. I have IBS and so I know that it's not my IBS playing up although the doctors seem to think it is.

I'm ok, still no period, week late tomorrow for me, although tracking app says 5 days late today. I called Dr's yesterday to talk about things, as conceiving ds took 3 years, but that included a couple of mcs and some cps. In November, we're 2 years of trying and NOTHING, so I think I need to have my bloods/further tests done again. But taking to receptionist, the only late apps they have with GP are w/c 26th, and can't book until Fri before (book on a 3 day rosta)... pretty sure I'll know either way before then 🤦‍♀️

@SuperlativeOxymoron I did contact EPU but they would only see me if my doctors referred me. So I contacted my Doctors and they were supposed to ring me back but never did. My period is now 3 weeks late and with how my last couple of cycles have been, I should be due on in Monday. So we shall wait and see how that goes.

I hope you get some answers soon for yourself. This period of not knowing sucks.

Thats really unfair @Gillseybear. Hopefully you hear back from them Tuesday.

I tested again today and I'm still negative. So it's pretty clear I'm not pregnant, but we're now at CD36, and for someone who has forever been clockwork 26-28 this is horrible.

I've had a look online at all the reasons I could be missing this one and bar a slight stress in moving house (been ongoing for 3 months, no nothing new), I literally tick none of the boxes. It's getting frustrating.

@SuperlativeOxymoron I totally get what you mean there it is super frustrating.

I am now 3 weeks late. The braises and vomiting that I have been having has driven me insane over the last few days. I got fed up with my doctors in the end and do I decided to contact 111 last night.
I spoke to a really helpful doctor this morning whom listened to my concern and gave me some really good advice. The doctor prescribed me some Anti-sickness medication and told me to get some rehydration salts. Which I have done and I am feeling rather better. Have only thrown up 3 times since I took them instead of the more than 10 times I threw up there. The nausea is still there all the time but at least I am not being sick.
Then to top it off I did a Frer test today and it was positive. It was not a dye stealer but it was still a clear positive.
So all being well I will contact my doctors on the 27th November and we can start my midwife care ect.

@Gillseybear that's really good news that you spoke to someone who has listened wanted to help rather than brush you off and that they've managed to help clear at least some of the sickness.

Congrats on the positive, I really hope it all goes to plan from here on out!
