@Ifitistobesaid no you wouldn't need to wean after 2 weeks its only if you're taking pred for an extended time. Good luck testing today!

@Sezmarelda1 think it might be short lived as I’ve just had some bleeding 😢

Can’t get through to the nurses at CRP. Does anyone know if I should skip the fragmin and aspirin tonight since I’ve had bleeding? Is that what he would usually advise?

@Ifitistobesaid could it be implantation bleeding? I would carry on with everything until you speak to them tomorrow personally but I don’t know much about fragmin. X

@Tgrf55 I guess it’s possible but I never trust bleeding. I suppose all I can do is keep an eye on it and test again tomorrow.

@Ifitistobesaid is it constant? I had a fair bit of implantation bleeding with my first pregnancy. Keeping everything crossed for you x

@Tgrf55 no not constant, just a bout of pink bleeding about 5 hours ago and a couple of spots of brown discharge since.

@Ifitistobesaid that sounds promising! No red which is good. Could definitely be implantation. Keep us posted. X

has anyone has sucess with Dr S for recurring chemical pregnancies?

my first pregnancy also ended in an incomplete miscarriage at 13+2. I have read chemical pregnancies arent really his specialty so wanted some insight before my appt next month!

I haven’t had any bleeding since that bout yesterday so going ahead with intralipids tomorrow. Still feeling spooked but guess I just have to keep to the plan and hope for the best.

That's good to hear @Ifitistobesaid , hopefully it was just implantation bleeding but I know it's unsettling and hard not to think the worst. Sending a big hug x

I’m 9dp5dt (or 14 days post ovulation) and I got a 1-2 weeks on clearblue this morning. I know that’s within the normal range but it’s lower than I’d like and combined with the spotting my gut tells me this one is not going to make it.

Can intralipids help if it’s slow progressing like this or is there any point in doing them if it’s doomed to start with? I don’t want to fork out hundreds of pounds for no reason. I have my beta test with my IVF clinic tomorrow and wonder if I should defer intralipids until Friday so I have a better idea.

I am on my way to CRP for my appointment. I hope it all goes well 😩. Feel so deflated.

@Sophi81 hope it all goes well, i felt the same. I was hopeful about the treatment plan but also sad that I knew it would only confirm what I already knew.

@Ifitistobesaid I'm sorry I don't know, I would probably still go ahead with them if I were you just so that you can say you tried everything, even though they are so expensive. Hope it all works out x

@Ralowi thanks I spoke to CRP and they agreed we could hold off until Friday when I’ve had the beta result.

@Sezmarelda1 I had the results yesterday and it was 152. My IVF clinic thinks it’s ok though I’m still pretty worried. I will try and arrange a repeat test for tomorrow or Monday to see if it’s doubling like it should.

My first response test was much darker today and my boobs are starting to hurt so hoping that’s a good sign.

@Ifitistobesaid i had my HCG checked because i previously had an ectopic was worried. Nearly a week after my positive test it was only 171 and I'm 15 weeks now. I'm sure its all absolutely fine xx
