How do periods after miscarriage go? Something going on!

I had a MC at 5 weeks.

My period (I think) is due tomorrow and had a pink smear (EXACTLY like my implantation bleed) earlier today.

I put a pad on thinking this period would just be 'different' and nothing since has came out.. no further bleeding.

We haven't been trying as we wanted to give ourselves a small break. Haven't had unprotected sex since before my MC.

I had bloods taken and my HCG was below zero so doctors were satisfied I had passed everything. Have been having sore boobs etc. But have read that some others experienced this whole waiting on their first period after MC.

Is this normal or should I be concerned? I just want my period and get things back to normal!

My periods were completely all over the place until I conceived again (my now daughter), 8 months after my loss.

My first period after miscarriage was very very light. It went on for way longer than my normal periods had and was like spotting most of the time. I then had two heavier than normal periods before my periods went back to how they were before the miscarriage.

Forgot to add I had a missed miscarriage baby stopped growing around six weeks. Sorry for your loss ❤️

Took 8 weeks for my period to return after MMC.
I did have abit spotting in between.

My first period after my MC was extremely heavy. I guess it really varies.

How long ago did you have a miscarriage?

my first period after surgery was very light and short, the second was light/medium. I haven’t had a third yet.
