I had a MMC 5 weeks ago now. I thought I had tested negative but I’m not sure I left the tests long enough to develop and I am noticing faint lines when I leave them for the recommended time. I was due a blood test at the EPU last week as I was worrying about the positive tests, but I cancelled when I got what I thought was a period. I only bled for a day and it was extremely light.
Now I’m noticing extremely faint positives. Pretty sure I’m not pregnant again as the line isn’t developing- but it’s very frustrating as I just don’t know what’s going on!
Ive attached todays test.

Go to the epu for a scan and bloods. It may be retained product. Although, I had no retained product and it took me 9 weeks to test negative after MMC surgery. Best of luck x

After my mmc I was totally negative on normal tests but on cheap early detection strips still had a faint line for a little while longer, I think it can take quite some time for the levels to drop completely!

Thank you. I’m still getting positives on the clear blue digitals too - 1-2 weeks.
