FRER darker after 3 min *pics help*

Morning

So out of curiosity, for the FRER you're meant to wait 3 minutes to read the results.
I've noticed though that after 3 minutes (I'm literally talking like maybe 4 or 5min) once it's completely dry, the 2nd line looks darker than it did at 3min.

How can I make sure the lines getting darker if it seems to change?

Granted the one from yesterday was an afternoon wee when it got delivered, the one from today was FMU.
The pictures of the test this morning are both from 3 minutes and then literally 4/5min.

I'm incredibly anxious and hoping someone can help me.
Thanks x

Pregnancy tests give yes or no results. You’re not any more or less pregnant if the line is dark or faint.
Congratulations on you pregnancy.

Sesamechick · 02/09/2022 05:58

@PurBal
Thanks lovely! Was just quite worried that this morning's seemed lighter than yesterdays

There was one day I got a lighter result then the previous day when I first found out I was pregnant in Jan. they were FRER too. I kept taking them worrying it might end up being a chemical as it was before I was due on and they did get darker - I think that ONE test was a fluke … tbf though your tests look much darker then mine did - I assume you’ve gone past your period due date?

Sesamechick · 02/09/2022 06:26

@Doodledeedumthanks for your reply. How you feeling now?
Yes that's exactly how I feel at the moment which is why I'm so anxious as I had the same experience in April and that pregnancy sadly ended.
Very hard trying to relax!
It's strange as some of my apps said Ovulation on the 17th but my tests showed 20/21. Some apps said AF due 2nd Sept and majority said the 4th. I got a faint positive on Tue 9dpo.

@Sesamechick well I'm due in two weeks 😆 so the tests were clearly just a bit dodgy

I just had to carry on testing so began overlapping using cheapies as it was getting expensive
I even had darker lines in the evenings which I found weird!

I'm sorry about your previous experience- try and take comfort in that you are getting pregnant and if all else fails keep a record and go to gp so you can ask for tests on progesterone-
Hoping this is it for you though 🤞🏼✨🤞🏼✨

20viona · 02/09/2022 06:38

Just stop testing they are lovely and positive, congrats.

Sesamechick · 02/09/2022 06:40

@Doodledeedum
Ahhhh how exciting!!!!! Wishing you an easy delivery, healthy baby and Mum :-)
Is this your first?
We are taking it one day at a time but I want to be able to get excited and enjoy this time. Husband was so thrilled last night when I told him but he is also v understandably nervous now. I'm keeping positive (no pun intended!)

Xxx

@20viona
It's a serious addiction 😂
I have 2 more FRER and then I'll stop...maybe.
It's hard not to x

Peeing on tests is a very serious addition
I'd do it from 5dpo and sometimes a few a day 😶

It's my first full term pregnancy- I've tried to be as positive as possible but can't wait to have her here now and hold her. I had two MMC last year so it's been a tough road!

Wishing you all the best!!! Keep us posted x

I need help to stop testing. I'm becoming obsessed. Testing numerous times a day and I know it's so unhealthy but I'm so anxious.
Tested this morning, I did wake at 2am for a drink of water and then tested at 545am. Looks slightly lighter than yesterdays and I'm freaking. Any tips to relax and stop testing please?
Thank you all x

No I wouldn't be worried. Your wee was def less concentrated and I personally feel it would be much lighter than that if anything was happening... 🤞🏼and you're due on today right? Looks very good to me x

Sesamechick · 04/09/2022 10:35

@Doodledeedum
Thanks for responding.
Yes, AF due today.
Your response really has helped..I'm really such a mess at the moment. I can feel myself becoming so anxious and paranoid. Trying to turn all that energy into positive energy.
How are you feeling? Xxx

Unfortunately the worry doesn't stop! sorry 😬, I'm in hospital being monitored for reduced movements but things looking ok at the mo!

If it was me I'd prob still be testing for about a week after. I did that each time! so don't feel silly for it x x x x

Sesamechick · 04/09/2022 10:58

@Doodledeedum
Ah lovely hope everything is okay! Fingers crossed for you xxxxx

@Sesamechick it's important to test at the same time every day, and also consider fluids, I always found my SMU gave me the best reading (and always a lot stronger than FMU) it's hard not to worry but those look like good lines! I know people say that a pregnancy test doesn't show you how pregnant you are, but I've found that to be totally untrue, my continuous testing prepared me for my early miscarriage last year. Hoping this BFP ends in a healthy baby for you🤞🏼😊

Sesamechick · 04/09/2022 21:32

@mylion
Thanks for your reply and well wishes.
First of all, so sorry about your miscarriage, hugsx xx

Interesting about the SMU, never tried that! I usually do FMU and then again late afternoon. I think I've been panicky maybe because the lines are thinner? So nerve wracking. Can't relax! I'm not going to test again until Tue/Wed.
Praying xx
