Very sorry you went through this. Unfortunately I don't have a story to share of a similar experience, but if it's medically possible, you should stay positive. Enjoy time with the kid you already have while working on 👶 no2.

I am also TTC and I know it can be a bitch sometimes. Also have some medical problems and lost a pregnancy quite recently. But as long as it may happen, I m gonna put my best effort into it.

Hugs. Take care and hope you receive the good news soon.

I had previous ectopic with a tube removed and just going through a second ectopic at the moment (fingers crossed it resolves itself and we save the only tube left and our best chance of being parents!). But I found out something so cool that might be helpful for you. I lost my left tube but this time it was clear from the scans that it was my left ovary that had released the egg. So my right fallopian tube had clearly reached over and grabbed the egg from the opposite side! We’d been ttc for about 5 mths but properly (ie ovulation tests etc) for only about 2 mths. So it is possible! Ignore the fact that we’ve ended up with an ectopic, it does happen but this one was caught early because of my previous experience (definitely pester your doctor to monitor you from the first positive test through blood hcg levels). The doctor did say that the fallopian tube can grab eggs from both sides but I never believed it until I got to see it for myself. It’s literally the coolest thing ever!

My friend had an ectopic and lost a tube, she then went on (fairly quickly afterwards) to conceive and have two children.
