Boots Strip Pregnancy Tests

Morning everyone,

Was wondering if anyone had any experience with the boots pregnancy strip tests?

I've taken one this morning and had what looks like a very convincing evap come up in less than 10 mins, I'll include some pictures but will likely be very hard to see.

I had a negative frer yesterday so just assuming this is an indent/evap.

Has this happened before? Are these reliable?

Many thanks!

That's a negative test OP.

mamazac · 01/09/2022 10:08

@gamerchick yep I know that, I'm stating there is a faint line which im assuming is an indent so asking for other experiences and if this usually happens with these tests

Not asking if this is a positive test

I think the PP means negative as she can’t see any line at all I don’t think she’s trying to be funny or anything. Neither can I on these pictures but could be bad pictures. I can’t see any line not even an evap

For what it’s worth I used these 7 years ago when I was pregnant with my daughter but I was around 6 weeks so a very dark line came up in seconds

mamazac · 01/09/2022 18:34

@allgoodthings84 yeah I appreciate that you can't see it, but my question was I can see an indent in real life and wanted to know whether anyone else had experienced this as I haven't used these tests before and wanted to know if they're unreliable - so someone just commenting that It's negative isn't very helpful, when I had already stated that I know it's not positive.

But thank you for your response x

I used Boots tests before and they have always been reliable for me - both BFPs and BFNs. From what I remember though results need to be read in 5 mins so anything that comes up afterwards - even if less than 10, would not be valid. Unless this changed and it's now 10 mins x
