Anyone want to join me on my journey to conceive baby 2? Just came off the pill and have had withdrawal bleed so our journey begins. My DS1 is 3 now and off to preschool so there will be at least a 4 year age gap. Took us 4 cycles last time to conceive so hoping for the same this time around. Excited but nervous too to have 2 children ☺️😁

Just came off the pill and finished my withdrawal bleed too. I have a little boy who is 14 months so hoping for around 2 years as a gap. I never originally thought I’d want them remotely close but he is really easy. Going to give my body this month though, as he’s still so young so don’t feel like there’s as much of a rush. I’m still doing ovulation tests this month though so I can see when is best to aim for next cycle! Had a 40 day wait for my first period last time 🤦🏼‍♀️

I've also started ovulation sticks to get an idea of where I am in my cycle. I've just come off some meds that means I need to wait until the end of Sept to actually start trying so I think we may be similar.
2 years will be a nice age gap. We always wanted a bigger one as my son has never been a great sleeper and I don't think I'd have coped with a newborn and a toddler that didn't sleep 🙈😂 he's much better now. Did it take you long to conceive first time round x

@Mayfield87 haha we will no doubt get one that doesn’t sleep this time after having all our luck in one go with our first! That’s good then 😊 I’m hoping it’s easier to be more easy going about it this time but I’m already obsessing. It’s just the fact it’s something you can’t control. No we were really lucky.. the first ‘cycle’ was straight after I’d stopped the pill so don’t think I can really count that. The second one I didn’t get pregnant and then the third I did so only really one proper month where it didn’t work. I was doing everything though, pre-seed, SMEP, clearblue and the cheap ovulation tests..the lot 😩😂
