Hi.

We are trying to conceive after miscarriage. Had my first period in August, 6-11 approx and ovulation on 20th August.

I am quite anxious and already had 2 test, the sensitive ones... negative both. I just hope it was too early.

I have irregular periods and really don't know when is the moment testing would be actually relevant. How many dpo? Does anyone know or has a similar experience?

Many, many thanks!

I've got very faint positives at 9 and 10 dpo.

How did you confirm ovulation? If you are sure about the ovulation date then you are now 11dpo. A FRER should give a line now or tomorrow at 12dpo. Maybe try tomorrow with a FRER and fmu?

I tracked it with ovulation test strips. So it should be pretty accurate. Today it was negatives, but I will try again tomorrow.

Thank you both!

I tested stark negative at 9dpo and then got a very faint positive the very next day! Im 19 weeks now. So the line can progress very quickly! Good luck 🤞💜😃💜

@Ana12345 it really is so subjective. Some ladies get BFPs so early on and others wait a good few dpo to get it. I am 9 dpo and will wait until 13 dpo as that is only a couple of days before AF is due and most likely to get an accurate response.
Test strips can get expensive too, so another good reason to wait
Good luck and baby dust xx
