Retained Placenta....

I have have just recently suffered a miscarriage TTC #3, but I have a huge worry on my mind. Whilst giving birth to my DD2 5 years ago I suffered a "retained placenta", and lost a significant amount of blood. I Had to have 5 blood transfusions... This does worry me and was just wondering whether there is anyone who has suffered the same and went on to have a normal deleivery. Thanks.

My sil had a same thing with her 1st. She had her second baby 3 years later and was absolutely fine, placenta came out no bother, at the right time with no complications. good luck
