hey everyone - I’ve been on numerous threads over the past year, it’s coming up to over 1 year TTC now and perhaps the only aid I’ve never tried is temping!

I’d like perhaps try natural cycles / or another thermometer if anybody can recommend!

thank you

I've been using NC since january, at first just to track my cycles after coming off of birth control, and then ttc from March.
Got to say I love the app! You do have to be super consistent with taking your temperature, the way I do it is to set an alarm everyday for the same time quite early, I take my temp and then go back to sleep!
There is an option now to link the app with an oura ring (which you can get second hand as well so not too bad a price) and that takes all the guesswork out of taking your temp!
There's also a feature to scan your LH tests so you don't wonder if it's positive or not, I really love it!
I think users do have a referral so you get 20% off so if you're interested let me know and I'll see if I can send you it!

I’ve been using NC since October last year and I do love it, but I have an irregular cycle and my temp never seems to be consistent which is a little frustrating! Especially as it often can’t confirm ovulation which leads to more “red days”.
Even so, I’ve stuck with it and I didn’t get pregnant when I didn’t want to, which is a good review! We’re now TTC and this is only month one, but it’s all been good so far!

After a year it’s best to head to the gp and get some tests done.
I don’t recommend temping. For your mental health and sex life!
good luck!

I used NC successfully for almost a year to prevent pregnancy and then for 6 months to get pregnant.

It's a good app and I'd recommend.

Thanks all! Before I buy, I’ve booked in with the GP for just over a weeks time to check everything is okay before adding another string to my TTC bow! But I’m still keen to try it…
it worked for my sister twice, but I didn’t want to pester her with questions as everyone’s anxiously awaiting me becoming pregnant and I didn’t want all the questions!

Although nervous to see GP and what they’ll say it actually feels like a weight off! Any idea what questions I should ask?
Husband and I already have a child together (7 years old!)

Where can you get an oura ring second hand ?
sorry I’m clueless

I've used natural cycles since October 2022 and had this message come up today, has anyone had this? Slightly panicking as I'm using it as a form of birth control.
