I am planning to come off the pill in the next few weeks and then ttc in the new year. I know it is good to start taking folic acid 3 months before ttc.

What brand and combination of vitamins/folic acid have people found easy, cheap and effective?

I think I'd prefer one where it's just one combined tablet a day rather than lots of different things. I've looked on Boots and Amazon but am overwhelmed by options... and cost as obviously I know ttc can take a while.

Thanks

I use seven seas folic acid for conception. My SIL uses the same and her husband is a doctor he said it's the best one.

I used conceive plus ovulation support and fertility support on two out of my 8/9 months TTC! Both of those months I got a BFP.. one was sadly a chemical and the second is now a sleeping 8mo. I'm absolutely convinced they are the reason! I did lots of research & read reviews on their website and also Amazon.

Best of luck 🥰

Pregnacare pre-conception from Boots 😊

seven seas one gave me a sore stomach so I switched to pregnacare.. I took them just before bed so I wasn’t awake to have a sore stomach but they were always fine

Wild fertility for women is what I take
Always use methylfolate, not Folic acid as it isnt as well absorbed by the body.
Vitamin d, c and omega 3 are also super important.
Some women report that pregnacare messed their periods up, so personally i wouldnt take it. I'd do my research very thoroughly. Good luck x

Thanks. I guess the tricky thing is when you research most of these pills there are reviews saying they messed up cycles or gave horrible side effects 😖.

Yes. This put me off so many. I only used the seven seas and it hasn't affected my cycle despite some bad reviews that it does.

I think that it comes down to each woman and how their body reacts to different products
