Hi,

I was thinking of purchasing these. For those who use them . Are they reliable and accurate?

I used the advanced purple ones, they seem pretty accurate - I'm using them at the moment but have gotten pregnant twice using them. I have checked them against other brands and they always seem to line up so I would say they work.

They are expensive but I find them much easier than trying to locate a peak on the cheapies.

@BritishDesiGirl they are but they tell you to test using fmu which in my experience and at the advice of others ive heard online, that is not when your lh surge shows up in your urine

This is what happened to me this last cycle, which is the first time i'd been using opks: I had been testing with the CB kit first thing in the morning until i got flashing smileys. In the afternoons I also used the lh strips.
The fourth morning I still had a flashing smiley but when I used the strips in the afternoon, my very strong surge was there. I immediately followed up with a CB to check it was static
Had I relied on CB alone I would have probably caught the tail end of the surge the following morning, or missed it altogether depending on how quick my surge is. So just bear that in mind. Good luck and baby dust!
