Is this an evaporation line?

I took a Tesco brand test last night, just for a clear mind since I'm on contraception (cerelle) and don't have periods. I only waited a minute, which I don't think was enough time but it seemed to be negative. I checked it again this morning and saw a line.

These tests have never turned positive after a few hours, if they're negative then they've stayed that way.

I took a really cheap, expired test with pink dye and that's negative. Not sure if it's just not sensitive enough, or if it's because it has expired.

Is this an evaporation line?

It’s hard to tell, if the line didn’t appear within the time frame and this is the next day then it’s very possible it’s an indent/evap blue dyes would be very notorious for this. Best way to be sure is to try a FRER and set a timer and then you should get your clear answer. Hope this helps!

Yes, you need to disregard it after the time frame. I’ve used these tests and they’ve done that after a while despite not being pregnant. Please don’t panic, I think you’ll be ok, but I would do another one in a few days time just to make sure, maybe a digital to avoid doubt.

The fact that you only saw this the next day I am inclined to think it's an evap line. I would re test in a few days and ensure you check within the given window. Best of luck

I'm hoping it is an evaporation line! I know I should have waited a bit longer. I've bought more tests and I'm going to test again tomorrow to see what happens.
