One day period?

So 8 days ago I had a one day period. I used one tampon for the whole day and after it that it stopped and I didn't bleed again. Unusual for me.
It was weird. I am now cd9 and I have taken a ovulation test just to see what happened and this was the result...? Seems a little early for such a strong result? Confused

Hi I've ovulated this early a couple of times - so certainly possible. However due to your short period, I would do a pregnancy test to be sure it wasn't an IB. I think you're meant to wait a week so you don't get a false negative.
