Hey all,

It's my first month TTC and I have a few questions because I'm confused.

My normal BBT is 36.1C I'm currently 6dpo and it's been between 36.6 and 36.9 over the last few days - is that normal?

Also FRER and other early tests say 6 days before missed period. Is that 5 days before AF's expected date?

I know it's too early to test or to get symptoms really but finding it so hard not to symptom spot. Any tips?

Thanks in advance 💫

Hey!

I don't temp so can't answer your first question but for the second: The pregnancy test companies assume we all have 2 week luteal phases.
So when they say "6 days before missed period" they mean 5 days before your expected period, or 14dpo. So they suggest you can start to test from 9dpo.

If you usually have a 9 day luteal phase so your period comes 10 days after ovulating , you wouldn't start to test from 5dpo, as there's no chance of a positive showing up.

Your temp usually increases 24 hours after ovulation so your increase is good news as it confirms you ovulated
