Anyone had BFNs and waiting for AF

AF due today, I tested on Sat/Sun (10&11dpo) and got BFN so quite certain I’m out but just want AF to arrive now so I can move on to the next cycle.

I’m foolishly retaining a bit of hope that I could still be pregnant and just tested a bit early. Symptom spotting a lot and noticed a few things which are probably just signs that AF is imminent..just want it to turn up now so I can stop getting my hopes up.

Anyone else at this stage?

@vitahelp if you conceive this cycle, your pregnancy will be dated back to today ✨ feels shit but that's a different way to think of it x

Im waiting for AF to be full flow, still spotting. I don’t know what day to class as day 1 though in the cycle? Bought some OPK to try this month as I don’t know if my apps are correct

@NalaNana I’ve never done BBT, is it easy? Any free apps to log the info on? I begrudge paying for any more apps. Though I’ll check my apps to see if there’s anywhere.

@Fran919 I've not tried tracking BBT yet but will start with my new cycle. From what I've seen, you need a thermometer that reads to two decimal places and you need to take the temp first thing in the morning before doing anything else. I'm planning to track mine in the 'premom' app because that's what I use with my OPKs, it's free x

@Chanteuse Sorry you’re AF has started too. Let’s hope we’re in the fertile window again before we know it. I’m going to try and keep busy.

@Fran919 Hmm I’m not sure what your day 1 is if there is spotting. I’ve just ordered OPKs too, I already do BBT charting but want a bit more reassurance that I’m getting it right, especially now I’m into cycle 4. I ordered a cheapo thermometer from Amazon, the brand is ‘baby mad’ and I track on fertility friend.

@NalaNana just super tired, a few breakouts and clear egg white cm! Usually have sore boobs before AF but they're not sore at all.

Also did a test yesterday which came up with a vvvfl so not sure what's going on.

Maybe you're right and my FMU was diluted🤞🏼

Hello all - hope its okay to join. Had BFN every day from 9dpo to 11dpo, I know I shouldn't have tested but I couldn't help myself.

AF due on saturday and I haven't had my usual cramps or spotting so hoping its a good sign, but trying not to get my hopes up.

Testing this morning at 12DPO and negative - that's me out for this month! Waiting on AF now x

@vitahelp thanks! I've just ordered my thermometer for temping, some conceive plus vitamins and preseed 😂 hoping to increase our chances over the next couple of months!

I am 11dpo and feel like period is brewing and I never make it past 12 days so seems like the correct time. I tested 9dpo bfn and am now out of tests. I know that is early to test, but got my bfp 8dpo with my first. She, too, took a long time to conceive and am near the year mark this time too. I slso seem to have gotten some dumb head-cold since yesterday and some silly part of me is hoping that is an early pregnancy sign 🙄

Anyway, just looking for some company for what feels like an inevitable let down tomorrow.

I'm joining the waiting game. BFN and AF due this week. Only started ttc on 1st cycle off the pill so I feel I'm expecting too much so early on.

@vitahelp - well AF was meant to arrive yesterday and still no sign and none of my usual cramps, backache etc. Tested today and stark white BFN.. :( feeling a bit lost!

AF arrived last night as expected!

@PotatoPiee are you sure when you ovulated? My periods aren't super regular in that sometimes I ovulate later, but my period always comes 2 weeks after a positive ovulation stick. Hoping you get some answers soon x

Yes I did another test yesterday u can see in the pic the top one is two days old and the yesterday one is the bottom one I can’t tell if it is getting darker or the same but I did a clear blue digital said not pregnant so I’m not sure

@Babbydust it looks a bit darker to me! Maybe still a bit early for the digital ones as I think they are less sensitive. Best of luck ✨

Just did a first response negative no line

@Babbydust if my experience counts, when I was pregnant with my first it took several days after a bfp cheapie to even get a faint positive on frer so I wouldn’t count yourself out yet. Imo they are not as sensitive as famed.

As for me, the spotting started on saturday, as expected. Was veeery faint tho. I have continued the faintest spotting today, but no big blood. If anything, I think it has gotten fainter. This has happened once before and that time just as I got my hopes up and bought a test it was a bfn and then as a slap in my face my period started an hour later. If IF i don’t have bleeding by tomorrow noon, I know I’m gonna buy a test at lunch (can’t help myself) and if that bsh is negative and then my period starts right after I’m gonna be so mad I’ll rip my floors up.

Ok so period here :| Still pretty mad that a) yet again still not pregnant and b) yet again let a bit of hope creep up on me, my dumb self should know better by now.
