Making me exactly 3 weeks and 5 days.

Dare I get my hopes up? Although I feel very nauseous this time.

Thank you. I agree, the FRER came up fast but very faint. I'm going to leave it a day or two and then test.

Baby dust to all that are needing it!

Tuesday 23rd August's test. I've just taken this and the line was instant.

I am feeling extremely tired, nausea is becoming more regular, I have twinges in my pelvic area when I'm laying down and cough/sneeze and I have sore breasts.

Out of all of the pregnancies this year, (this one being no.4) I'm feeling the most like it's almost ok to hope and that this one will be successful.

Progression check, even though I know it's still so early.

Hey Nat, technically on the 8th day but I had a strong suspicion from another 4 dpo. And thank you =)

@BecauseICan22 4dpo? Wow sorry my mind is blown. May I please ask what that suspicion was?

ready4rainbow · 23/08/2022 22:20

Good luck after so many losses.

Morning, I hope you're well =)

I've had in total 6 miscarriages from the age of 34 to 41, the 3 happening consecutively this year. Interestingly, my first 3 miscarriages were also one after the other.

I know my body pretty well and I have a very regular cycle. I know when I ovulate, I know when my period is due and I know those niggles, aches, changes and symptoms.

I actually made a note in my journal on the 14th August saying I'm pretty sure I'm pregnant. This was 8 days into my fertile window. I got my first positive, very faint, on the 20th August.

I use the Flo app, it's excellent. I also this cycle started taking 75mg of Aspirin as I've read it is often prescribed in the prevention of miscarriage.

My period is due on the 27th so I'm still not technically late. 🙃

Thank you, I'm definitely ready for that rainbow 🌈

I hope your journey is also going in the direction that you want.

BecauseICan22 · 27/08/2022 20:23

I still have very strong symptoms. The fatigue is real and nausea is strong. I pray these are all good signs.

Has anyone else had lower back ache in early pregnancy? I never experienced it with my previous ones this early on. I'm hoping as ever that it isn't a sign of anything untoward.

I've just checked my list of symptoms I saved on my phone when I was pregnant and mine says lower back pain. Sending lots of luck OP 🤞🏻🥰

I have head of lower back pain but thought it was later in the pregnancy?

Thank you 😊 - lots going on now though.

Yesterday afternoon I felt quite unwell, little shooting pains between my legs and then some cramping.

I wiped some very dark reddy brown blood yesterday evening. I'm still cramping today and have put a tampon in which whenever I've changed it, it has less blood or anything on it and what is coming away is a very, very dark brown - I know this is old blood. My DH and I have prepared ourself for miscarriage number 4. I am 5 weeks. I'm just confused because I'm not 'bleeding' and what I'm wiping isn't fresh blood.

It could be implantation but I thought that was more reddy/pink not so dark and the cramps are definitely uncomfortable.

OP posts:
BecauseICan22 · 01/09/2022 07:02

I've had severe cramping on one side and this feeling of pressure in my bottom. I'm going to my local EPU this morning. They open at 9, I'll call ahead.
I'm fearful this is an Ectopic. I've had one before about 12 years ago and all of the symptoms I'm feeling are pointing that way. The only thing I haven't felt is the shoulder tip pain/nerve irritation.

I just need to know what's going on.

I'm only 5weeks and 1day. I know it may only be bloods at this stage, I just need to do something.

Oh gosh, OP.. I'm praying it's just implantation but I know you said you really do know your body! Keeping everything crossed & hope you're okay 💐

I had the lower back pain at like 16-20dpo and cramping - enough to worry to tell my sister I was pregnant because I needed advice but only ever small bits of spotting. Hope EPU can see you as soon as possible.

Hey, thank you for your message.

This is to help anyone reading this. I got seen by my EPU by 10.30am, scanned by 11am and plan moving forward by 2pm.

I was right, the pregnancy has been confirmed as an Ectopic. A clear yolk sac is visible and left a few more days, there'd be a heartbeat and a definite rupture.

Ladies, please listen to your bodies and follow your instincts. If I hadn't have caught this as early as I have, the consequences would be terrible.

We've been offered 2 treatment options.

Medical, where they inject Methotrexate and you retain the tube but dissolve the pregnancy.

Surgical, where they'll go in under GA and remove the entire tube.

My HcG is 3300.00 and I'm exactly 5 weeks pregnant.

DH and I are going to discuss our next steps and then make a decision.
