HSG test

Looking to see if anyone has had similar experiences after having HSG dye test.
I had the test done nearly 2 weeks ago. My period was due same day as test & started immediately after procedure. It was heavier than usual with clots which was to be expected. My period stopped as normal then a day later I get cramps & start bleeding again & this has been going on for 2 days now but has gotten lighter & more brown discharge today than blood. I phoned the number they gave me yesterday & was told just to phone back if bleeding is heavy or in severe pain but still wondering if this is normal. Anyone had it done done & experienced similar & what was the outcome? Thanks in advance.

I had mine but I was specifically told to have it the week after my period but before ovulation. But I didn't experience any bleeding etc. I did fall pregnant the month after. Sorry I can't be of any more help. Hopefully it settles for you soon.

Thank you! I expected a heavy period but it’s like another period started 2 days later only was extremely light but more cramps it died down to just pink discharge now it’s stopped but still have cramps right down my thighs & in my back too & nothing specifically is causing it.

Anyone? Still having cramps going in for internal scan on Monday pain going right down my leg & in my back
