Hi everyone...
Just a question really.
Been trying to conceive and this will be month 7 for us.
I'm ovulating today but I have a 6 mile running race to complete. Will this affect my chances? Should I cancel the race?

I'm not an expert @cherrybonbons but if your body is used to this sort of intensity and assuming you're resting enough/eating well to recover, this shouldn't have an impact on your chances. (Reasonable levels of) exercise is only a positive for TTC and pregnancy; as much as overexertion and not getting enough calories/nutrition are bad for fertility alongside many other things. I was pretty active before my current pregnancy exercising 6 days a week - HIIT, running and yoga and loads of walking, and was still running and doing hard workouts in the first couple of weeks of pregnancy until the exhaustion/nausea hit me like a brick. Best of luck to you x

Thanks for this. I think I'm just being Uber paranoid. And I realised I'm still drinking the odd glass of wine so I shouldn't stop my life. Just finished and glad I did it. My body is used to exercise and running and I'm good weight for my height. Had a bit of a moment this morning.
I had bad stress the first half of the year and I'm finally regular with my periods again so didn't want to ruin it x
