I wouldn't say that's a strong positive, OP. The line looks weird, the dye is just on one edge. Could mean nothing, but the tests from Sainsbury's and Tesco's get a bad rep here due to being somewhat unreliable.

If you're really 5 days late I'd expect a much stronger line on FRERs, too.
Could be late ovulation this cycle, could be a chemical?
I'd test again with a FRER in 2 days.

I'd say that's defo a positive. Can you get a clear blue digital? That's what I did after a few dodgy tests

LovelyNanny26 · 19/08/2022 07:11

Think that could be down to the fact how long they are dipped in urine.Tesco is 20s and FR is only 5 seconds.

Thank you I'm going to get a digital and test again.

Shouldn't make a difference, they're dipped for however long is needed.

Good luck with the Digi!

Some tests are just better than others from what other people have said. Good luck.

LilacSky95 · 19/08/2022 07:35

This happened to me and it was a chemical pregnancy unfortunately

LovelyNanny26 · 19/08/2022 07:35

At this point would you do the digital at any time of the day? Thanks

With such faint/negative looking tests I'd only do a Digi in the morning with fmu

With the blue dye tests, the vertical line has to be as thick as the horizontal. So the very dark but thin line "doesn't count".

However, it looks like the other half of the line is there, but much feinter? So basically, I would count both tests as positive but neither as "strong". Test again tomorrow- at this stage any test should get noticeably darker within even just 24 hrs xx

Mum2be86 · 19/08/2022 08:13

@LovelyNanny26 i would say that’s potentially a positive my test ones were like that and I’m now nearly 6 weeks. Could it just be that you conceived late?
will add a pic of my test ones from around 12DPO.
xx

My period suppose to arrive on Sunday.

OP posts:
iloveyankeecandle · 19/08/2022 08:27

This Sunday or last Sunday? If it was last Sunday then I reckon you could take a test at any point of the day. I know I could and it would be positive.

LovelyNanny26 · 19/08/2022 08:32

Last Sunday

I'd just take one at anytime. I got positives from any time of day once my period was due
