Am I pregnant?

I would love to hear your thoughts??

Unprotected sex on 28th July, while ovulating. Period “late” by a few days. Was rather light not too heavy, was bright red with a few clots. Also came around the same time as implantation bleeding. Nauseated, feeling sick with bad food aversions on the 18th August (exactly three weeks after UPS) 2x definitely negative tests and 1x potential positive (‘line’ went pink then disappeared). The potentially positive test was the first of the three when urine was of higher concentration.

What do we think?

Incredibly unlikely (sorry if you're trying).
You should have quite a clear positive test by now if pregnant.

If you ovulated after the 28th July- unprotected sex could result in conception. The ideal ovulation window, in that scenario, would be 29th of July to the 2nd of August. Anytime before that or after (assuming the was no other episodes of unprotected sex) would be highly unlike to result in conception. Assuming those ovulation dates are correct, then the CD1 would fall from13th to 17th of August (14 day luteal phase). But you describe your period as being late- when were you expecting your period?

Implant bleeds often produce spotting or brown/watery blood. Clots and red blood would be more likely to be a normal period bleed. Also implantation happens before your period is due, not after

Tests are only give valid results when 'read' in the prescribed time window ie: after 2 minutes and become invalid again after 10 minutes, this does vary brand to brand. But any test that shows a test line as it is developing that isn't there in the 'read-time window' is a negative test.

Some women can have slow climbing Hcg pregnancy that they don't get a positive test until 5th or 6th week of pregnancy so if you are very worried/confused I would suggest asking your doctor for a blood test
