SMEP on shorter cycle

Hi all, we conceived #1 on month 5 using SMEP, so after a failed month this month for #2 I thought We would try the method again.

my last few cycles have only been 24 days. Normally there 25, sometimes 28. The dates I’ve seen for SMEP is normally based on 28 days.

is there a calculation for how you do it based on a shorter month? 24 days at a push 25 seems to be my regular month now. Thanks !

Hi sorry to jump on but this is my 3rd month TTC #2 , we literally tried nearly every day post AF up until 1 DPO and sadly I was a week late coming on AF and my cycle had jumped from 21 days last month to 35 days this month!

I do feel like DTD every day is added pressure so have been reading up on SMEP and just think we are going to DTD every other day from day AF ends up until I get my positive OPK then for 3 consecutive days!

hoping for a better month this month, I’m not sure whether it alters for shorter cycles etc but I am just going to begin from end of AF just to cover my back.. xx

Hey, yeah I’d find it stressful doing it every day. Your way makes sense! Sounds crazy, but I’m definitely more stressed about conceiving #2nthah I am about #1!!
