Norethisterone and helping cycles regulate and ovulation

Hey all, I came off the pill 1 year ago and had cycles from 29 to 75 plus day cycles. My gyne consultant recommended norethisterone 10mg for 10 days and stop for 3 weeks, fir 3 months to try and regulate cycle as we are TTC.
Has anyone had anything similar.
I have ovulated in the past even with with 29 day cycles. Just weird how ice suddenly stopped.

@Lou186 My IVF clinic prescribed noresthisterone as part of their cycles so I take it a lot. It works for me but my cycles are fairly regular anyway. Just to say tho there is currently a shortage so you may need to take Provera or something different instead. Best of luck x

Hi

Do you take it with clomid or just by its self?
And is that with a view to keep you regular or were you put on it for another reason?
Oh good to know thanks!

I’m taking 2 weeks of Norethisterone at the moment as hadn’t had a period after stopping the pill 8 months or so ago, finishing on Tuesday so fingers crossed it kickstarts it…!
