First time tracking ovulation and confused

Hey all,

This is my first post so I'm not sure what I'm doing. My husband and I are TTC and it's the first month I'm tracking my ovulation properly (I know my cycle length).

So far I've had very low ovulation test results apart from a peak after my period which I assumed was positive ovulation. I'm now on day 34 of 36 in the cycle and I've got another strong test result and I'm confused as to what it means. I surely can't be ovulating again if my period is due in 3 days?

Any one who can help me out I'd be grateful as it's stressing me out haha

I can't say why you're getting weird OPK results, but you might want to try temping if the OPKs continue to be confusing!

Have you tested and had a BFN? Ive heard that sometimes a strong opk can mean a bfp, but I'm not sure!

Yes I would take a pregnancy test. LH tests can also pick up HCG and so often women report positive ovulation tests when they’re pregnant.
