First response evap or faint positive?

i am currently 2 days late on my period, unless it decided to randomly be irregular.. so I tested this morning and got this what I hope to be a faint positive— though I would’ve assumed for it to be a BFP considering I’m a little late on my period. But I’m also read some women produce the pregnancy hormone slower than others, and that it’s also “normal” to not test positive even up to two weeks after a missed period. Is it too soon to get excited? Worried it may be an EVAP line

It looks like a faint positive but tbh I'd expect it to be darker if you're already late for your period. Do you know when you ovulated?

I don't think the line looks quite in the right place for a positive sorry. I'd definitely test again in a day or two though!

@xttcbabyno1x oh maybe I am wrong then! I was just comparing to mine, which looks a little more central I thought. But maybe looking too much and eyes going funny

@bea179 now I'm looking at it again I'm not sure 😂 mine is central but the gap on the right is bigger, who knows?! 😂 congrats how many dpo now?

The position of the lines can vary by test, so I wouldn't worry about that, but I agree it's very light for 2 days past your missed period.

I would test again in a couple of days time, but would expect it to be a chemical pregnancy. I'm sorry, they're so disappointing 😞
