Any stories of people testing positive very early (8dpo) and then negative the next day?

Is there any chance I could still be pregnant if my urine just wasn't as concentrated or something?

The best thing is to check first thing in the morning..
Chemical pregnancies can happen either
Lots of luck :-)

Only time this has happened to me was when I had chemical pregnancies unfortunately. Obv this might not be the case for you

CountrysideVibes · 09/08/2022 18:27

@LilacSky95 thanks for responding. I know it's probably chemical but don't want to believe it :(

There is some evidence to suggest that when an embryo tries to implant it releases an initial burst of hcg - first response tests are so sensitive they don't actually declare a minimum level of hcg what they will turn positive for - I've known women with a blood test hcg level of 6 get a BFP on FRER - so lots of tests I see on here were positive on day 8DPO and negative the next where there have been failed implantation

Don't test do early, if it's going to be positive let the hcg build up

I only tested because I was starting some medication you can't take whilst pregnant

Apologies for sounding harsh but you didn't say that in your post and also (understandably) disappointed you might not be or have had a chemical.

It's just frustrating the amount of people spending fortunes on tests when it's so early.
I get it, I was that addict but I had to control the urge.

Hope you get your positive soon ❤️
