First month ttc- period or….?!

Hi all,

Just looking for some advice please. First month actively ttc. I have been off the pill since March and since then my cycles have fluctuated between 24-29 days.

Positive OPK on day 17 however yesterday cd27 I started having cramps and spotting when wiping (sorry if tmi) so assumed the start of af. Today the same with brown/light pink spotting and no where near enough to fill a pad/tampon. Tested this morning on an easy @ home pregnancy test and was a strong negative.

I’ve never had a period like this before but is this common when ttc?! Or am I clinging onto hope that this may be a strange start to pregnancy.

Thanks for reading. X

Implantation bleeding perhaps?

Hi, I’m in a similar situation. My periods Havnt been totally regular since coming off the pill in December. Not actively trying but not avoiding either. I have been testing since what I think was 8dpo and all negative. Last night I had slight brown discharge only when wiping. Today (11dpo) I had pink/orange/red when wiping so I thought AF had come. I put a pad on but only had some brown staining all day. When I wipe it’s now pink staining, not CM but just more that it’s staining the tissue but nothing in pad. Could this be implantation? When should I test?

These could possibly be implantation bleeding. I would give it a couple of days and if still no proper AF do another test.
