TTC #2- what age is your first?

Just out of interest really 😊 My little one has just turned 1 and all of a sudden I feel like I’m almost ready to do it all over again 😅 Obviously due to the fact it can take a while to get pregnant and you’re pregnant for 9 months, I think we’d like just over 2 years as the gap but it means I need to get the ball rolling relatively soon with coming off the pill etc. I’m also thinking it means mentally I can tell myself I’m not going back to work for too long because I will have another route out planned 🙈 What made you decide now was the time?

I could have written your post! Time is running out to go back to work and I'm thinking hopefully it will be less than a year before I am off again. I know I'm ready because I just can't stop thinking about it- and cruise the conception boards after a glass of wine..!

@TobySpaniel 😂me too! I kind of just want someone to tell me to go for it but a 2 year age gap is really popular so clearly lots of people do. I also think my work will eye roll when they hear I’m going off again 🙈 I feel like I’m just so over working there now after seeing what it’s like to be off! I was miserable working full time and having no life, that’s made me enjoy mat leave sooo much

What did you decide @Goodnewsday ? I'm currently 13 weeks 🤣haven't told work yet!

How are you feeling?

@TobySpaniel 😂 im good now thanks, I was quite sick up until the last week! It took a few months to fall pregnant this time, I think that was the 4th cycle so was getting to the fed up point 🙈 how are you feeling?

Still feeling crap really. Bit taken aback by the nausea and morning sickness as I didn't suffer at all last time. Hoping it'll go soon 🤞
We only started trying 1st December and got a positive on the 1st January so it's all been a bit of a whirlwind. Had a few 'ah shit this is happening!' moments!

@TobySpaniel we found out today that it’s a girl 💕 so it’s starting to feel slightly more real now! Did you not? Hopefully it won’t last too much longer. I think mine stopped around the 12 week scan last time but this time it’s continued until about 15 weeks. I forgot how bad it was and how much it takes over your brain because you can’t think of anything other than ‘oh god oh god, I’m going to be sick’! That’s amazing it all happened so quickly 😊 are you due early September then?
