FRER HELP!

I need help😠11dpo
So I took an FRER, not much of a hold tbh so was always going to be a waste, but it was weirdly positioned, the test was a different colour at the end of the window and the control line was surprisingly thick, so I took it apart obviously.
There is a pink line but very faint as wide as the control line, but also a big pink smudge in the absorbing part of the test, I've never seen this before? Have the test changed? Does that pink bit mean something?
Just a bit confused, the line is clearer and defo pink in real life!

picture quality is terrible so you can't see the line at all, but it's definitely there!
Rowen32 · 06/08/2022 16:09
You need to get a new test, I can't see anything..

That's negative.

I'd take another test, once you open it, it becomes invalid.
Fingers crossed for you

I'm not asking if you can see a line, just querying what that dye is as never seen it before.
I'm aware it's invalid, only opened it up because it was an essentially broken test so wanted to see what was wrong inside it.
I have another for tomorrow morning but it's from the same packet so hopefully it's not dodgy too!

The pink smudge is when you've got too much liquid in my experience. Would have cleared if you'd left it a while.
