Long story so as not to drip feed

First child conceived by accident while I was on the pill. I had the implant fitted after his birth

DC 2 took just over 15 months to conceive after the implant was removed, doctors said it was secondary infertility and couldn't find a cause. I had a few chemical pregnancies in this time

Went on to gave DC 3 and DC 4, both conceived really quickly

I had the implant put back in

Implant was removed January this year so we could ttc DC5

I've had 4 chemical pregnancies in a row. Do you think the implant could be causing this unexplained infertility? Has anyone else had trouble conceiving/ chemical pregnancies after their implant was removed?

Thanks!

So you've been trying for 6/7 months? And last time it took 15 months post removal? I don't think you can say you're dealing with infertility yet, it's not been a year. It can take a while for cycles to regulate post implant removal, which could explain the slightly longer time to conceive with dc2. Hoping it happens soon for you

Thanks for your reply x

The doctor said last time any longer than 12 months was considered ' unexplained infertility' and would need investigating. I understand this is nothing to those suffering true infertility and I dont mean to sound insensitive x i just wondered if anyone else has had trouble getting pregnant after implant removal and if that could be the cause of the chemical pregnancies
