Basically are they any good? I’ve been testing for a few days now and absolutely nothing not even a smidge of a line, I’m used to checking cervix height etc and it’s still really high AF due in 4 days usually it’s low by now (always been high when pregnant as it was a couple of months ago but unfortunately wasn’t a sticky baby 😢)

was wondering when other peoples experiences were with these tests and do I just go ahead and buy something better.

One step i got were 25iu
frer is about 6/7 and mine was positive last pregnancy
this time my cervix has been high and then noticed today its closed? And i got my bfp today

NatGee · 04/08/2022 21:41

You can check the sensitivity on the test wrapper, at the back. I got some and it says they are for ultra early detection at 10miu. FRER are 6.3. I got a BFN on both today. Try CB or FRER and see if any different? Would love to know. Baby Dust!!!

Thanks all for your responses I did a Tesco test this morning and got the faintest line ever really unsure what to think (got VVFL like this when had my miscarriage two months ago) according to my ovulation tracking in only 11DPO today but AF due in 3 days.

oh and lines appeared within time frame. Will add pic but it’s so hard to get a good one.

Looks like a positive to me.

AdriannaP · 05/08/2022 08:30

Yes that’s a positive.
I have used one step ones for 3 years nearly monthly, was pregnant 4 times (sadly 3 losses) but they were always accurate for me.

whatamiDoingx · 05/08/2022 08:35

I’ve used them a lot (hundreds !!!) they were I thought really good. Either stark white negative or if there was a line then I was pregnant however I recently had a faulty one. Line came up immediately one afternoon , frer was negative next morning though but the line on the one step wasn’t even faint so I dont trust them anymore
