Hoping for BFP August/September

I've never had ovulation pain but do get EWCM but not every cycle, usually homes around CD 10-13. Sometimes it's loads then others barely nothing!

@EdinburghGirl1 we're gonna aim to DTD every night over the next week or so just in case and I'll continue the opks!

New to all this it's our first month TTC. Got my positive OPK on 16th all a bit up in the air as only came off implant in July but you never know!

Absolutely no idea what happens next as my positive OPK was 2 days before the end of my cycle (period is due tomorrow but again did come off implant last month so clearly ovulating late)

Way too early for any tests for me now but just saying hi and hopefully will be back here in a couple of weeks 😬

@twigsterable I think maybe coming off the implant your body is still regulating. Never been on it myself but I had the same coming off the pill first time. You're welcome to stay even if you're not near testing. I'm 2 weeks off testing yet. AF due 31st 😅

I'm not sure if the normal rules for implant apply to me as I had it in for more then four years despite it only apparently being effective for 3?

I got my periods back a while ago and they've been regular up until this month

@Lollywhite when I was ttc #1 I was going to the fertility dr because we had been trying for 2 years and that's what he told me, my cycles were regular tho, but he said to dtd every second day over ov.

He recommended this because it gives the sperm a little more time to mature. You don't want it older than 5 days either!!!

He said most importantly to STOP peeing in sticks!!! He said you can miss it, as the right hormone level can be very quick.

His recommended days for my 28 days cycle was 7 (just to empty out the old stuff) 11,13 and 15. Assuming I was ov on day 14.

I was pregnant after 2 months!!!

The same every other day worked last year for #2 but we lost that one.

Update…

BFN on my FRER today.. Still no AF, had some yellow tinted cm/little bit snotty today. - could be a sign of AF though? Although I have no other signs/symptoms of AF like I usually would.

@EdinburghGirl1 I know definitely obsessive I mean I probably will still use them but I’m not going to solely focus on the results (easier said than done lol)

@Purple29 oh wow that’s good to hear, it does make sense too! I’m defo going to try focus on every other day regardless of what OPKs say .. so sorry to hear about your loss xx

@twigsterable It sounds like you should be regular then I guess if you've had regular periods for a while. It's strange really x

@Purple29 I think next month I'm going to try that DTD every other day around ovulation rather than relying on sticks. I can see I ovulate every month between 14-16 which is regular so I don't need sticks now. I might try every other day from like CD11 and see if it helps. Only problem is dh starts getting annoyed if it's so often as sometimes we're both too tired.

@Chloo22 Sorry for BFN x What DPO are you? I wonder if you implanted later. Not out until AF shows though x

@EdinburghGirl1 oooh good luck! I think CD21/9DPO roughly so 24th Aug, I'll try a cheap strip test, if nothing I will wait until my AF is due! How about you? X

Joining along. Ovulation day, TTC 6 months, one early miscarriage in June. Hoping this month is the one 🤞

@BellaTheDarkOverlord I found that because it was only the 4 days it had to be scheduled in it wasn't too much. Even when tired. Its not a guarantee but it def worked for us and I know it worked for a couple of friends too.

Morning ladies! Hope everyone is doing well? What CD are we all on now?

I'm currently CD12 and my first month using OPK's, and I'm confused!! Was doing them every 24 hrs and they looked to be darkening, then started getting lighter, so I'm thinking I might have missed my peak inbetween tests, but this would mean I would have ovulated early at CD11, which would be early for me as usually have 28 day cycles, however last month was only 26 days so don't know if that's affected it?

OPK's are now barely even visible lines so a bit confused with what's going on. Would appreciate any feedback!

Didn’t post yesterday so here is another line progression from 7-11 dpo and a clear blue 9 dpo and 11dpo so happy ti see it all getting darker.

Just done my first OPK this month and could barely see a line at all so plenty of time yet, Ov should be next week some time

@mamazac oh that’s annoying. From your description, it seems you’ve probably ovulated then. Were you DTD in the lead up?

@Missgemini yeah, looking back to when I conceived my 1st on the Flo app, our DTD dates didn't match up with ovulation on day 14, as only DTD early in the month.

We DTD the day I saw the peak and the day after (yesterday) so fingers crossed there was something there waiting for it!

Going to unofficially class today as 1DPO unless I get a peak on the opks in the next few days x

I'm 2DPO now. Woke up to a call from MIL saying dh's nans died this morning. She was very unwell at 80. Dh says he has a strange feeling I may get pregnant this month. I hope that'll be a nice glimmer of hope during bereavement.

@BellaTheDarkOverlord sorry to hear your sad news. Fingers crossed for you this month, I'm still waiting for my peak at cycle day 14 xx
