Ovulation test help me understand please

Hi everyone I bought ovulation tests and today I used my first one its been 7 days since my period ended and this is the result

Is this negetive and how close am I too ovualtion
I find it all a bit confusing I tested at 10.30 am

Hi @Lily189 your ovulation test is negative. The test line needs to be the same colour or darker than the control line for it to be positive. Keep testing, may be best to test a couple of times a day so that you don't miss your peak that can arrive very suddenly! How long are your cycles usually?

Hi there 😃❤️. This was my positive ovulation test. We had sex 3 days in a row after it, and I am now 15 weeks pregnant. This is how it should look, sometimes a bit darker.

I got a positive yesterday and today my bf is coming home tomorrow will that be in time or will it be too late I'm slightly confused by all this lol

@Lily189 hey! This is also my first cycle of trying so I hope I've understood correctly... I believe best times to DTD are in the 5 days before ovulation, day of ovulation and the 24 hours after ovulation 👍🏼 every other day is usually a recommended frequency but obviously do whatever you fancy! :)

Hi sorry to jump on the post! I've taken 2 tests. One on the 11th and one today and it indicates a positive test. I've also got a change in discharge (tmi!) Is this positive or am I thinking too much?

Rechecked it and its this! Thanks for any help

Not positive yet, keep testing but I'd start having sex every other day as I suspect you're not far away from a peak test and will ovulate shortly after that. Good luck 🤞🏻
